1 – San Ysidro DC

Wow what a difference a week makes in the weather!!
Awesome morning and would have been a perfect day if the afternoon wind hadn’t been directly from the south!!

Special thanks to Dup (Mark Dupuy) for SAG support getting drop bags out to the NGCS and to David Garner’s wife and son for cleaning up the leftovers. You ROCK!!

Kudos to Kara Durland for setting the fast female time ever for the Loop1 course and doing it on a SS. Way to go Kara!

    Full course next year?

Thanks, Lenny! It was a great time, and White Mesa is beautiful!
Full course next year, sure; this time I’ll plan ahead :)

Good stuff Lenny! I skipped this one last year, and in the mists of time I thought my PR was 10:10 in 2007 (fist year of this route), Saturday I was a little confused to be at 10:10 again, as I *felt* like I was moving much better. Turns out my 07 time was 11:10. Of course, pretty much everything after about half way around Cabezon peak becomes confusing. Sorry to bolt on you guys after the NGCS, but the legs said “BEER!”.

Great day. Thanks Lenny for putting this together.
Hopefully these miles will carry farther than the last two years at the SFBFL. Cheers!
