  2. Take FR 542 to Rabbit Run TR./05605
  3. Follow Rabbit Run down to the bottom across the road to Power Line TR. 542B/05543. You will come to a split in the trail. Stay Right on Power Line TR. 542B/05543. The trail the turns into double track, you will cross a dirt road and continue up the double. It becomes fairly rocky as you reach the top. This will pop you out on the power line road.
  4. When you reach the power line road go left for a short distance until you see an entrance to single track on the right. This is the entrance to Cedro Peak Loop trail.
  5. Take this trail down through a couple of sharp switch backs. Shortly after the switch backs you will come to an intersection. Go right and continue on the Cedro Peak Loop Trail/05622 for a while.
  6. The next intersection you come to will be for Chamisoso 2/05184. There is a sign here. Go left down Chamisoso Canyon. Right on 05543. Once you have taken Chamisoso all the way down and through the arroyo crossings you will want to look for a trail off to the left and take it. This is the Tunnel Canyon Trail Cut Over and the beginning of the first out and back section. (This trail is not marked and easy to miss. If you do miss it you will end up coming out on Chamisos RD. 462. Go left here which will take you out to Highway 14. Take Highway 14 south to Tunnel Canyon Trail Head.

This intersection begins the second out and back section of the course. There is a good chance the slower riders may cross paths with the faster riders so keep your head up. Also remember this intersection. On your way back you will be taking the trail to your right which will drop you back down to Otero Canyon.
  12.  Blue Ribbon will pop you out on to a double track. Go left. The double track will take you by the entrance to Three Bottles which is on your left. You will continue strait but that intersection marks the end of two way traffic. You will soon come to an intersection with a trail marker where you will go right on to the single track.
  13. Follow this trail for approximately 1 mile. At this point you will want to be looking for an un marked single track off to your right into the tree’s. This trail is called Un Pollo Loco.
  14. Un Pollo Loco will eventually take you across a dirt road and to the top of a ridge that you will cross to the entrance to Turkey Trot.
  15. Take Turkey Trot down to the bottom of David Canyon, cross the canyon and climb up to Mars Court.
  16. Once at Mars Court Take a left on to the single track.
  17. Go right on Cajun Turkey, cross the road and continue until you come to a split.
  18. At the split stay right and continue until you come to a three way intersection.
  19.  At the three way go left through the tree branch arch way on to Three Bottles.
  20.  Follow Three Bottles until it pops you out on to the double track.
  21.  Go right on to the double track to the entrance to Blue Ribbon TR.( This is one of the out and back sections)
  22. Take Blue Ribbon down to the next intersection and go left.
  23. This trail will take you down to the bottom of Otero Canyon. There is a split on this trail but you can take either way. They end up in the same spot.
  24. Go right down Otero Canyon about 50 yards and take a left back up Tio Juanito.
  25. Do the reverse order of the first out and back section. Tio Juanito, Rambo ridge, Tunnel Canyon, Tunnel Canyon Cut Over. This will take you back to Chamisoso.
  26.  Go left on Chamisoso to Chamisoso RD. FR 462.
  27.  Chamisoso RD. to Coyote TR./05619
  28. Coyote Tr. To Five Hills of Death
